The substation is extremely important for the efficient operation of your offshore wind farm. It uses transformers to ramp up the voltage of the electricity that is generated. This ensures that the electricity can be transmitted over long distances to the mainland with minimal loss. If your offshore substation goes offline, none of the wind turbines connected to it will be able to deliver any electricity. You will also receive a detailed monthly report from us including the exact calculations of the availability of your substation. The availability of your offshore substation can be maximised by recurring inspections, service and repairs. Our range of services includes all common maintenance work on your substation, including the high and medium voltage transmission systems, the transformer, the switchgear and the secondary technology (power supply generators, air conditioning, HSE, building services, lighting and communication systems and the helicopter deck). Our main spare parts warehouse, which has almost 20,000 parts, also ensures that worn-out materials are quickly replaced and provides our service technicians with access to state-of-the-art tools, materials and spare parts around the clock. We can also create customised work plans and processes on request to ensure that all parties involved work together hand-in-glove.
Remote 24/7 monitoring and fault elimination
Our staff at the offshore control centre keep an eye on your wind farm around the clock. Our fast troubleshooting process is particularly important because it makes the costly offshore deployment of a team for troubleshooting unnecessary: We react immediately to error messages at our control centre.
Another important part of our work for you is data analysis. Your offshore wind farm generates an enormous amount of data every second, which can only be used after it has been processed.
