Our employees have vast expertise and industry experience, both onshore and offshore. We harness these competencies at our Training Center in Bremen, Germany, and use them to develop training strategies and then make them available to both our employees and our clients.
Our European service technicians attend courses at the German Training Center at least once a year for several days to receive further training in the areas of occupational safety and service of wind turbines, to update their certifications and to learn about innovations. This qualification process for our employees ensures the quality of our service.
We place great emphasis on education and further training because they ensure the quality of work and employee motivation. We promote the qualified development of junior personnel and lay the foundation by training young employees to be mechatronics technicians specialising in wind energy. From apprenticeships to cyclical, advanced further training, we not only train our own employees, but increasingly also the employees of operators and other companies in the industry.
The authentic turbines from Vestas, Siemens, Enercon and Senvion that are installed on the ground make the Training Center unique in the world. The nacelles represent almost the entire spectrum of technology that service technicians deal with in their daily work. Here, at this one training location, they can simultaneously perform troubleshooting tasks, clarify practical questions regarding electrical engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, control systems and operation, and then practice the work related to those questions.
Many types of work in the wind industry are associated with risks and dangers, for example working at heights, in confined spaces or where there is a fire hazard. We offer safety and survival training and help you to protect your employees from accidents at work.
