With our BBG+R, you always have your blade bearings under control. Our 360° monitoring system detects potential cracks at an early stage and monitors them around the clock. At its core is an optical fibre bonded around the blade bearing ring, which carries a laser signal and detects cracks in the range of a tenth of a millimetre. As the measurement is optical rather than electrical or mechanical, it is less susceptible to external influences. This allows issues with your rotor blades to be addressed before they lead to consequential damage. In addition, our monitoring system enables proactive maintenance planning and provides essential information on the condition of your blade bearings for continued operation beyond 20 years.
