Sabowind Service GmbH and Deutsche Windtechnik have already been working together successfully on a wide range of projects for years. This partnership between the two companies has now been consolidated by a new contract: Deutsche Windtechnik will be taking over responsibility for the servicing work at Heldrungen wind farm with immediate effect. The farm in the German state of Thuringia is home to Enercon E92, E101 and E115 turbines. Deutsche Windtechnik’s taking over responsibility the first time for the newer Enercon E101 and E115 turbine types represents another milestone. Marcus Bojack, Managing Director of Sabowind Service GmbH, explained that the switch to Deutsche Windtechnik was based on good experiences: “In the past, we have seen time and again how Deutsche Windtechnik adapts successfully to new technologies in next to no time. The discussions prior to the signing of the contract established the framework conditions for the order. We cooperate as equal partners, with both sides knowing what their duties are and what we have to work on.” Jasper Salzwedel, Senior Sales Manager at Deutsche Windtechnik and contact person for Sabowind, confirmed: “We understand that above-average availability of the wind turbines, spare parts management and rapid reaction times are the key criteria for Sabowind and intend to confirm the trust placed in us in practice.”
A basic requirement for conclusion of the contract was also that the servicing of the different turbine types would be performed under one roof: Deutsche Windtechnik will thus be monitoring all the Enercon E92 to E115 turbines for which it is responsible in just one SCADA system.
