As an operator of an offshore wind farm or as an employer in the field of offshore wind energy projects, you are obligated to fulfil stringent legal requirements in the area of QHSE. In addition to the quality, health and environment standards that are applicable to onshore wind energy, there is a particular focus in the offshore sector on occupational safety. We work together closely with you to keep an eye on the complex and location-dependent regulations and integrate them into the existing processes during the construction and project phase as well as the operating phase. Monitoring all measures as well as the documentation on a regular basis is an integral part of our work. Our broad experience in manufacturer-independent service for offshore wind turbines enables us to seamlessly integrate our work with existing processes, implement necessary adjustments immediately and share our insights with you. We support you during all phases: creation of the concept, implementation and monitoring. Your location and situation-based requirements are also taken into account.
Our occupational safety concepts also include training strategies to ensure the offshore-readiness of your employees and every visitor to your offshore wind farm. These include, for example, Extended First Aid Offshore at our own premises, or water training (Sea Survival) such as Helicopter Underwater Egress Training or hoist training, which are offered at our training partners' locations.
Safety equipment
Every visitor and employee at your wind farm must wear special protective equipment to ensure their safety. In an emergency, this can mean the difference between life and death. We create situational checklists for you and your employees before entering the wind turbine or substation at sea. These checklists contain all necessary information about legal and operator-specific requirements regarding safety equipment. The comprehensibility of this information for everyone involved is particularly important to us. In cooperation with our Training Center, we can also provide instruction in the correct application of this information in emergency situations. We are also happy to help you select, procure and test the appropriate equipment for your team.
Combine official and wind farm-specific requirements in a meaningful way
The standards issued by legal authorities for your offshore wind farm as well as the deployment of your employees are as complex as they are essential. In addition, there are wind farm-specific circumstances that occasionally necessitate more comprehensive concepts regarding all aspects of QHSE. Not only do we ensure that you can fulfil your obligations, we also analyse the usefulness of further measures and examine implementation options in practice. Continuous review, adjustment and documentation of these concepts enables us to provide you with the required, professionally prepared documentation.
