Health and Safety Trainer Technician (m/w)

Contextual Information

Deutsche Windtechnik is present in Spain since November 2015 where it has over 750 WTG under maintenance. It is our objective to leverage and improve the same level of Quality, Safety, Efficiency and Customer Service to Spain. Deutsche Windtechnikaims to become the best valued independent service provider in the Spanish Market within the next 5 years and you can be part of this success.

Deutsche Windtechnikis currently expanding its Service & Maintenance portfolio with a strong focus on the Spanish, Mediterranean an US markets.

Deutsche Windtechnik is looking for a technician who manage the Health and Safety Training requirements.

Deine Aufgaben

The person selected must have proactive, organization and good communication skills. This person, depending on the QHSE Manager, will be take care of the following functions:

  • Plan, preparation and delivery of the following trainings modules according to the company requirements, or other interested parties:
    • Training about the inherent risks of each job position.
    • Works at heights and rescue and evacuation from wind turbines.
    • Fire awareness
    • Manual handling
    • Electrical risk in wind farms (low and high voltage).
  • Planification and management of those training modules hired with external companies (first aid, bridge crane, fork lift…).
  • Doc management.
  • Maintenance management of the infrastructure required to carry out the trainings.
  • Continuous update of the training modules, in order to ensure trainings fit with the requirements established.
  • Promote the continuous improvement of the training system.
  • Support the internal prevention service activities when is required.

Dein Profil

  • Background
    • Intermediate vocational training cycle
  • Experience
    • Teaching experience in Health and Safety programs
  • Other requirements that the candidate must have
    • Residence in the province where is the vacancy.
    • Very good skills in MS Office.
    • Vocation and commitment to the Occupational Risks Prevention.
    • Occupational Risks Prevention training Basic level (intermediate level is valuable).
    • Specialized teacher training (training of trainers).
    • Knowledge of climbing techniques or work at heights, as well as emergency response.
    • High level of English.
    • GWO training is valuable.
    • Driver license and own vehicle
