Deutsche Windtechnik to provide services to Ścieki wind farm

The Polish subsidiary of Deutsche Windtechnik has signed a 15-year contract to provide full-services to the Ścieki wind farm. The Scieki wind farm is owned by Green Investment Group (GIG). The Ścieki wind farm is located in central Poland and home to eleven Vestas V90 wind turbines. The new service contract expands Deutsche Windtechnik’s service infrastructure in Poland in terms of technology, rationality and personnel.

Detailed negotiations result in a customised service contract
The scope of the service contract between Green Investment Group and Deutsche Windtechnik is extensive: full service including major components. Furthermore, the agreement includes guaranteed energy-based availability of the wind turbines. The detailed scope is the product of transparent talks between the two par-ties. Wojciech Łużniak, Country Manager of Deutsche Windtechnik Poland, feels confident as well: “The long-term focus of the contract provides certainty to both parties and opens up multiple options for us to consider the requests of the customer, Green Investment Group, such as local presence,” he said.

Service agreement required measures in various segments
In order to be able to perform service of the highest quality for the Ścieki wind farm, located south-west of Warsaw, Deutsche Windtechnik has opened new service stations in central Poland. The bases are practically located from a geographical perspective, as they allow the teams to reach the wind farm quickly and effi-ciently. The newly established infrastructure can also be used to integrate future wind projects in the same area. Additionally, the Polish unit of Deutsche Windtechnik has expanded its operational service team in the region. The specialist service technicians received training on the latest standards at Deutsche Windtechnik’s in-house Training Center in Germany.
