Sales Manager UK (m/f)

In 2015, Deutsche Windtechnik entered the UK market and now has over 300 WTG’s/400MW under Service & Maintenance contracts, our aim being to expand further into both onshore and offshore markets. Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd‘s head office is located in Edinburgh.

You will work closely with all departments in the UK and other group companies to ensure we are providing a level of service expected from a market leader. Although the majority of your time will be spent working in the UK you may be expected to spend some periods working with colleagues in Germany and in other Deutsche Windtechnik group countries.

Role Clarification

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying plans to the Company and Senior Management Team.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their future needs
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence within the market
  • Responsible for operative implementation of sales strategies for UK market
  • Develop and report market analysis and monitoring
  • Expansion of new and existing business
  • Negotiatate and conclude contracts
  • Monitor, analyse and report client investments
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the senior management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Dein Profil

  • Ideally have a Bachelor degree in a related field
  • A number of years experience working in a similar position, ideally in the wind-energy sector
  • A strong business sense and industry expertise
  • A high level of technical understanding
  • A proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • You are fully familiar with MS Office and ERP systems
