The remote data monitoring employees are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is also possible for customers to specify the intensity of collaboration and the degree of job sharing.
Our control room, completely refurbished in 2015, provides every technical and safety feature necessary for upcoming projects. This includes the integration, compatible in terms of safety technology, of offshore wind parks as well as the monitoring of onshore wind turbines, also ones installed beyond the borders of Europe.
Furthermore, the new control room creates the basis for a further improved proactive fault analysis. Within the scope of the “Prognos Brain” project (in collaboration with the Fraunhofer institute and the company, resolto GmbH), we also contribute to continuous advances in “artificial intelligence”.

Special technical features make the Deutsche Windtechnik control room stand out from other conventional control rooms. For example, the integrated alarm server enables immediate reaction to any faults that are registered. We can thus analyse the fault immediately and then initiate the necessary steps to remedy it straight away. Our statistics show that we are able to remedy 60 to 70 percent of incoming fault reports just by resetting the system operation. The downtime for the wind turbine should not exceed two hours.

All data relevant to the wind turbine are prepared and stored for the long term. Processed using intelligent systems and methods of analysis, they are invaluable indicators for improvements to the operation of the system.
Whether for performance enhancement, improvement in availability, reducing wear and tear, improving work processes – the data is often the basis for this and is checked for validity by the different units, sorted and unified and thus made ready for the evaluation process.
Remote data monitoring is the basis for our comprehensive information management for the customers. In addition to the raw data, all documents, reports, events and the complete history is stored during remote data monitoring.
