05.09.2019 Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. adds Senvion technology to brand expertise in the UK – five innogy-wind farms commissioned

The UK subsidiary of Deutsche Windtechnik is expanding its national portfolio by providing O&M for five wind farms operated by innogy Renewables UK. Besides Siemens, AN Bonus and NEG Micon, the independent service provider now counts also Senvion turbines as part of its knowledge base in the UK, and hence follows the path of the other Deutsche Windtechnik units. more

02.07.2019 Deutsche Windtechnik wins contract to provide maintenance for Senvion 6.2M - all installed Senvion power classes are now service

Effective immediately, the independent service provider Deutsche Windtechnik AG will now also provide maintenance for Senvion's largest multi-megawatt class: the 6-MW power class. Deutsche Windtechnik now has all turbine classes manufactured by Senvion under service contract, including the complete MD and MM series, the 3.XM series and the 6.XM series. more

25.04.2019 Deutsche Windtechnik achieves a new milestone: Maintenance for Siemens SWT-3.6 at the Riffgat offshore wind farm

Deutsche Windtechnik has been awarded the contract to provide maintenance for 30 Siemens
SWT-3.6-120 wind turbines at the Riffgat offshore wind farm as part of an EU tender procedure that was initiated by EWE Offshore Service und Solutions GmbH (EWE OSS). The contract begins in June 2019. The two companies have been working together closely for more than two years at the offshore wind farm alpha ventus, and their cooperation will now continue at the Riffgat offshore wind farm as a result of the EU tender. more

02.04.2019 Deutsche Windtechnik signs massive service contract for Gamesa turbines with long-standing customer in Spain

Deutsche Windtechnik S.L.U., the Spanish unit of the independent service provider, is making a statement by adding 213 wind turbines to their service portfolio: Maintenance contracts were agreed upon for several wind farms situated in different regions around Spain, including 130 Gamesa G80 and G52 wind turbines, 40 NEG Micon NM52 and 43 Vestas V90. more

29.03.2019 Dismantling concepts for old wind turbines are becoming safer and more efficient – the lattice mast of a Vestas V47 at the Blender wind farm has been blasted

On the afternoon of March 27, 2019, a lattice mast was destroyed by controlled blasting at the Blender wind farm. The 76-metre high tower had been the supporting component of a Vestas V47 (660 kW) wind turbine for 18 years. It was dismantled as part of a larger repowering project and subsequently replaced with newer, more efficient turbines. more
