Operations Coordinator-offshore

Deutsche Windtechnik Co. Ltd. with office in Datong District, Taipei is an independent service provider for on- & offshore wind farm, executing maintenance, repairs and inspections on all assets of an on- & offshore wind farm, including the Transition Pieces and Substations.

Location of work: Budai Town, Chiayi County, Taiwan

Your tasks

Job Description

• Monitoring the operating conditions of the wind farm and alarm handling
• Operating SCADA system to monitor the activities of wind farm and respond the abnormal event and alarms appearin
• Review, and lead HV switching according to the switching procedure to site operation person remotely by phone or radio
• Ensure LOTO procedure
• Logging and categorizing of all disturbances
• Recording and evaluation of downtimes and Response times in the event of failures
• Communication with Substation, WTG service team and TPC Grid department
• Emergency response
• Accept the rotating shift with a reasonable schedule

Your profile

Requirements

• Academic degrees of electrical, information engineering science related, or similar
• Working experience in dealing with IT software or SCADA system would be ideal
• Working experience in working with international and intercultural teams would be ideal
• Working experience in HV substation or facility management is an advantage. Able to identify and classify your work assignments
• Enthusiastic, well organized, communicative
• Responsible and independent: able to control the progress of work efficiently, and have experience or skills of management
• High flexibility with the spirit of teamwork: able to work around between the wind parks, short-term business trip or training abroad and work in shifts
• Car Drivers’ license
• Fluent Mandarin and Good English skill in listening, speaking, reading and writing
