Take a look through the keyhole
In cooperation with the Business Development and Technology Transfer Corporation of Schleswig-Holstein, the Software Development department at Deutsche Windtechnik is working on the “Predictive Maintenance Wind Turbine” project. This project is focused on machine learning as a subsegment of artificial intelligence (AI). It is hoped that the software will detect faults on wind turbines at an early stage, so as to facilitate predictive maintenance. Among other things, it will specify the components needed for a service call and the optimal time for the maintenance. Alongside increasing availability, the software will also boost turbine safety, ensure resources are used more efficiently, enable the modification of spare parts and make it easier to plan wind power for the energy grid. This process does not require the installation of any additional sensors.
