Take a look through the keyhole
On the eve of the Husum Wind 2017, the newly built Deutsche Windtechnik Training Center in Viöl was unveiled to the public for the first time. Internal education and training courses that focus on system engineering will be held here from now on, but that is not all. Special training sessions for large operators and plant managers are also on the schedule.
"As competence providers for system engineering, we see ourselves as pioneers with an obligation to pass our technical know-how on to others to promote transparency in the market", Matthias Brandt described the Training Center's mission. Jens Krippner, who heads the Training Center, said: "We offer our customers training concepts and cooperation models that are tailored to their requirements. In addition to the fundamentals of electrical engineering, mechanics and hydraulics, the programme also includes topics such as control technology and operation as well as special training courses. Our practical training courses, which take place inside nacelles from Vestas, AN Bonus and Enercon, play an important role in opening the service market further."
