Hanns Schütz is our new Head of Sales for Germany

On 1 August 2023, a new manager took over the Sales Department at Deutsche Windtechnik. As part of the ongoing merger of our two large service units, Hanns Schütz has taken over as Head of Sales for Germany. He has a degree in industrial engineering, has been working in sales at Deutsche Windtechnik since 2015 and knows the company very well.

Hanns Schütz joined us as a member of the former After Sales Department of Deutsche Windtechnik Service, where he was responsible for the sale of large components as well as other services. At the beginning of 2017, he transferred to the Sales Department to sell service and maintenance contracts. In his new position, he coordinates the sales activities for the German market and acts as an interface between Sales and the various specialist departments such as Engineering, Field Operations, Procurement and Customer Care. Hanns will continue to be the contact person for his clients for new service contracts.

Hanns Schütz's goal is to design client-friendly, market-oriented contracts: "We always strive to fulfil our clients' requirements to the greatest extent possible. This also includes developing our range of services in line with demand and informing both our business partners and the market about it. It is good that Deutsche Windtechnik continuously expands its service portfolio. For example, Deutsche Windtechnik is now offering service and maintenance contracts for the Enercon E101 and E115 CS 101a turbines."

The merger of the Service and X-Service divisions will hardly change anything in terms of sales, which is a good thing. "The two units have already worked together in a very close, integrated way in sales for several years. It is also beneficial for everyone, especially for our clients, that the contact persons will be even clearer in the future."

In addition to his work at Deutsche Windtechnik, Hanns is involved in his local council in North Frisia, where he looks after construction projects and municipal issues, among other things. He also enjoys handicrafts in his free time.
