Deutsche Windtechnik and psm WindService are joining forces – Merger with psm WindService at the turn of the year

psm WindService GmbH & Co. KG became a 100 percent subsidiary of the Deutsche
Windtechnik family this year, and now both companies are taking the merger one step further at the end of the year:
psm WindService GmbH & Co. KG will be completely merged with Deutsche Windtechnik
X-Service GmbH on 01.01.2021 and cease to exist as an independent company. Since this Process is
solely a transfer of operations, all contracts will remain valid
and automatically become the responsibility of Deutsche Windtechnik.

As part of the merger, there will also be some changes in the management of psm WindService GmbH & Co. KG: Torsten Stoll will be leaving the company at the end of the year to take on a new position as the managing director of wpd windmanager Erkelenz GmbH & Co. KG. The managing directors Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka will continue operations seamlessly from January.

Improving performance and eliminating duplicate structures

"Deutsche Windtechnik and psm WindService have grown closer this year and already forged ahead with a very good integration. For example, the headquarters of psm WindService GmbH & Co. KG in Erkelenz, the spare parts warehouse and the service bases have been almost completely integrated into the Deutsche Windtechnik service network. The merger is now just the next logical step under corporate law to combine forces as much as possible and eliminate any duplicate structures," said Matthias Brandt, Director of Deutsche Windtechnik. "Both companies bring a lot of experience and expertise to the table, particularly in the areas of turbine maintenance, large component replacement, troubleshooting and in the development of retrofits and upgrades." This will make us stronger together and drive us forward in terms of our performance and growth, which in turn will benefit all of our customers."
