One of the highlights was the live connection into the interior of a wind turbine: Two service technicians showed the young people the large components that generate electricity from wind. Of course, a view from the nacelle at a height of 75 m was also a must.
Afterwards, trainees from the corporate group presented their vocational training programmes, and finally there was a quiz on the topics that had been discussed.
Overall, everyone who participated had a lot of fun and benefitted from the wealth of information and impressions from the world of wind energy – even though it was only virtual this year, not live.
