18.08.2021 Deutsche Windtechnik adds 250 MW to its US-turbine maintenance portfolio

In July, Deutsche Windtechnik signed a long-term service agreement for 59 Nordex N90 2.5 MW and 63 GE 1.6 MW SLE wind turbines at Cedar Creek II wind farm in Colorado. This is the first Nordex N90 service contract signed with a US-based customer. Deutsche Windtechnik's Nordex experience from the European market combined with the US-based Engineers will be supporting the client in taking excellent care of this rare technology on the US market. The GE fleet makes it the second GE wind farm for Deutsche Windtechnik's US-based unit. A total of twelve wind turbine technicians and one site manager will ensure service at the highest level of quality.

For Melf Lorenzen, CEO Deutsche Windtechnik Inc., the agreement is the next important step in the development of the company on the US market: "We are truly grateful for this opportunity to increase our footprint in Colorado together with a new partner, as we continue growing our GE wind turbine footprint and add yet another turbine technology to our US portfolio. The experience gained keeps proving our multi-brand capabilities as we continue down our path of becoming the most trusted operations and maintenance provider for wind farm owners in the US."
