We are proud to announce a flying start to this second quarter for Deutsche Windtechnik Inc. who has been awarded their first major O&M project in the United States. This long term contract with Leeward Renewable Energy LLC for two Siemens windfarms totaling 186MW is an excellent opportunity to display Deutsche Windtechnik’s full scope O&M capabilities, both for this valuable customer and to the US wind market. Jason Allen, COO Leeward Renewable Energy LLC, confirms: “Leeward chose Deutsche Windtechnik as its partner for this service contract as we continue our efforts to improve the yield of our turbines while driving down operating cost.” For Melf Lorenzen, Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik Inc., the combined strengths of the different departments are the key to success: “I am proud to see a great team effort involving our Customer Service Office located in San Angelo, our headquarters in Houston and the Siemens-engineers within the company that supported the bid. We thank Leeward Renewable Energy for providing us with this opportunity and trust in our service”.
